THE WALL THAT HEALS
The Wall That Heals honors the more than three million Americans who served in the U.S. Armed Forces in the Vietnam War, and it bears the names of the 58,281 men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam. The traveling three-quarter scale Wall replica is 375 feet in length and stands 7.5 feet high at its tallest point.

What is The Wall That Heals?
It is a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., that travels across the country. The exhibit honors the more than 3 million Americans who served in the U.S. armed forces in the Vietnam War and bears the names of the 58,281 men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam.

Volunteer
Please join us in welcoming The Wall That Heals to our community from April 10-13th, 2025 by volunteering to honor all who have served.
If you are interested in volunteering during this event, please use the link below to find more information about each volunteer position and to sign up. Only your name will be displayed. Your phone number and email will be private.
Volunteer training is strongly encouraged. Volunteer orientation will be on Wednesday, 6:00pm.

Group tours are available Thursday April 10th and Friday April 11th, and must be scheduled in advance. Tour times are listed below. Please include the name of your organization, approximate number of tour participants, and preferred tour days and times.

While their names are not on The Wall, they are never forgotten. On the Vietnam Veterans Memorial site in Washington, D.C., a special plaque reads: “In Memory of the men and women who served in the Vietnam War and later died as a result of their service. We honor and remember their sacrifice.” Click to learn about the In Memory program.
The Wall That Heals tour will be in D’Iberville Mississippi in April 2025. The digital display is of Veteran’s for our state. If you wish to see your Veteran’s photo on the digital display that accompanies The Wall That Heals, click for the application and follow the instructions.
DEADLINE: The D’Iberville Wall Exhibit deadline for submission is March 9, 2025
Applications received after this date will not have time to be displayed when The Wall is in D’Iberville.
ELIGIBILITY: In Memory honors those who served in the Vietnam War, returned home, and later died.
Please have your veteran’s DD214 or other military-issued service record verifying their service in the Vietnam War, as well as their death certificate, ready to upload with this application.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not an application to add a name to The Wall.

Donate
The City of D’Iberville, the American Legion Post #2002, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #6731, would appreciate donations from businesses and individuals for bringing The Wall That Heals to D’Iberville. Donations will also be used to support the veteran’s programs within the community.
Donations to bring “The Wall That Heals” to Harrison County in April can be made by check.
Checks may be made out to American Legion Post 2002 and mailed to the address below. Please include “The Wall That Heals” in the memo line.
